So how did a Georgia mom who knew nothing about Internet marketing--much less know how to create a website--become a Super Affiliate Marketer with a 6-figure income?
Jennifer Ledbetter (also known as PotPieGirl) is that Georgia mom and, as she explains in her best selling book, One Week Marketing Guide, she used mostly free resources readily available for anyone--regardless of their experience.
PotPieGirl struggled to supplement her family's income. Sounds like a familiar situation, doesn't it? Her husband laughed when she said she was building a website. Well she did build one, and then another, and another--and she did it for FREE!
All three of the following steps have no cost to you!
What she was doing is called Affiliate Marketing. Here's how Affiliate Marketing works:
Step One: Set up an account with an affiliate network. I recommend clickbank.com. All you need to do at this point is sign up. ClickBank has over 12,000 electronic products: e-books and computer software.
Step Two: This step is a bit more involved--not complicated--just involved, as PotPieGirl and I suggest you do some Internet research to see what kind of products people searching the Internet are looking for, and may be willing to spend money to get. PotPieGirl will cover this fully for you in her best-selling e-book, "One Week Marketing Guide."
After researching ideas and finding a "niche," then go into the ClickBank (CB) Marketplace and search for products. Golf is a super big niche so we'll use that as an example. When researching the "keyword" golf swing tips, Google reports that during a one month period, 22,200 people searched that term. So look for a product in CB by searching the same keyword--golf swing tips. Several will be displayed. Check them out by clicking on the title of each blurb. Once you find a product you feel comfortable with, click on PROMOTE.
You will be given two links. Actually both are the same but the long one has HTML coding in it. PotPieGirl will explain this too.
Most affiliate products offer a commission of 50-75%, and you never have to handle a product, ship a product or collect the money. CB does all of that for you.
Step 3. This step can be handled in one or two ways. I use what is known as Article Marketing to reach people searching the Internet. I write articles about my products (but not a sales pitch). I post my articles on free article directories where the major search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing will find them.
I also created a bunch of free websites--like the one you are reading now in hopes that the search engines will find these websites. Based on my recent sales results, my websites are pulling traffic from the Internet. I just set them up and then forget them!
The steps above are a basic outline of how to setup an affiliate marketing business. Yes there is much more to it. That's why I strongly recommend PotPieGirl's step-by-step, lead you by the hand e-book, "One Week Marketing Guide." PotPieGirl will fill in the blanks and she offers a full 60-Day, Money Back Guarantee with no questions asked. Check it out HERE
